I could feel my fingers turn into tiny icicles while I was walking. Gaah!
SO that’s what inspired this look. Lots of layering yet not compromising on the style. This look has everything I love! Colour, faux fur, leather, quintessential gloves, and a great IT bag. Life’s good! Move aside “winter” and hell-ooo ice queen!
Tomorrow, starting at 1PM, in Riverbank Plaza at Vauxhall, London, will be the Asiana Bridal Fashion Show with shows starting from 1PM onwards and loads of designers showcasing their designs. To experience intricate and detailed craftsmanship, vibrant colours, opulence and luxury in Asian fashion, please come along!
Being one of the dressers at the show, the rehearsals today were amazing with lots of high energy and amazing people to work with. This past week has been quite busy for me. But, I will be back with all the latest in fashion in the next couple of days. Till then, enjoy this sneak peak! xx
There’s nothing like well designed work out clothes to motivate you to go for a run or hit the gym. At least that’s what motivates me. The thought of running in those well co-ordinated shoes and jogging bottoms, with my headphones grooving to the latest beats, wind blowing through my hair and making me look even more glamorous, my awesome abs and taut stomach-sigh! Yep! That’s what dreams are made of! HAH! I wish! I stopped working out 2 months ago and I feel like death!
Anyway! Now is not the time to moan because in a couple of months London will be hosting the Olympics 2012!!! And with that in mind, Westfield Stratford is gearing up with the Olympics fever. Westfield Stratford and Adidas, being the official sportswear partner, have organised a weekend event, MY2012, with pampering sessions from Lush and Ginger Group, an opportunity to try out Stella McCartney’s range for Adidas and go crazy on their Photo Booth.
Ladies if you’re not doing anything on Sunday, the 21st, then please make your way to Westfield Stratford. You also have food sampling scattered throughout the day and some Zumba classes to get you working those muscles. There’s also a talk by a top nutritionist happening tomorrow. Have I enticed you enough? Heck! they’re not even paying me for it! But you know what, it’s all about health and fitness so why not?!
It’s good fun if you’re not planning on doing anything tomorrow. For more information on the event and the schedule, please click here.

Some times my days are spent dreaming of how it would be if I lived in NY, the big Apple baby!! But I hear London is the new fashion capital and then I feel a bit smug and think “this is the most exciting time for fashion yet! especially in London”. So the following look I did, is an ode’ to my love for New York and bringing some warmth with these winter colours. I could see someone like Mila Kunis pulling off this look. Till the next one, ciao chicas! xx
Since it’s getting so cold in London (well FINALLY! still no sign of snow though ) my new love is layering. And lots of layering. In this particular post, I layered a £3 Forever21 top (got it in 2 for 1 sale!!) on top of a £10 H&M dress and paired that with a statement necklace I got on sale from House of Fraser, my faux leather tights (from ASOS) and Zara ankle boots.
I am lusting more after the nail lacquer. Have you read the names for each?! African Violet, Bitter Bitch, Coral Blame…LOVE THEM! This man is a genius! Is there anything he cannot do?! But my favourite colour that made my heart skip a beat is Flo Viper. It is such a luxurious shade of purple and putting it on your nails would make you feel like royalty! It is perfect for the weather right now. Sigh.

And I don’t care if it’s £25! I just love it! Love it! Love it! (I think I need to calm down..)
Continuing my praise for the visual merchandisers and artists who look after making every nook and cranny of Selfridges looking gorgeous, I came across this pretty ballerina outfit suspended from the ceiling at Repetto’s in Selfridges. The whole shop is beautiful and oozes luxury, what with crystal chandeliers and sparkly ballerina outfits- this place is more than a shop for me. I just like to roam around and see how have they changed their space now? Have a look for yourself. xx
Some people love Selfridges for its shopping and the fact it houses the world’s top luxury brands but that’s a given. What I love about Selfridges are its unsung heroes. The visual merchandisers and artists who probably spend countless hours and months planning a window display or the shop floor visual merchandising and you can tell all that planning was worth it. I walked into the men’s formal department today and lo and behold: what an amazing piece of creativity! The typewriter, the written letters cascading on top of each other as if mimicking a waterfall yet looking so effortless. I was awestruck. It was a scene out of a 1950s movie as if a man had spent hours and hours writing a letter, threw it away, wrote another one, threw it away ad infinitum.
