Love my blingin’ owl ring I got from Irregular Choice and this surprisingly cool Zara bangle. Surprisingly because I don’t normally buy these things from Zara and lately they’ve been doing really well in that department. How did you accessorise your look today? Would love to see! xxxx

Nothing like new additions to your jewellery collection. What makes it even more special is your friends gifting them to you and they know what you’d like!! Totally in love right now.
The ring and leather wrap-around bracelet is from Juicy Couture. Now this brand is quite controversial where some people call it “chavy” (non-english people please google the word ) BUT!! In JC’s defence I would say I for one love most of their jewellery, may be not all of it but all the ones I’ve bought myself and I have been gifted I just LOVE them. Plus the pieces I’ve got don’t have any OTT branding on them so they’re great pieces and ones to keep! Yeah if you’re going to wear a JC tracksuit and UGG boots then I’m sorry but that would be classed as “chavy”. But you have to make sure you wear the brand the right way. FYI! you can never wear Paul’s Boutique the “right” way. That brand is “chavtastic” as it’s best! I think I’ve over done the word “chavy” in this post.
My bestie knows what works for me!
Check out a few I’ve spotted.
What arm candy have you been sporting lately? Do share! Till the next one xxxx

What has been catching my eye lately are the gorgeous small designer leather accessories i.e. cardholders. Coming in an array of colours, these are the perfect accessory to put your plastic money in aka debit/credit cards or even your business cards. A great conversation starter especially if you’re into networking. It’s like having a small part of designer goodness in your bag. A great gift I may add. I gifted a gold Prada cardholder to my friend and she loved it!!
And they work really well if you’re going out and can only stash as much in a clutch. So putting your card in a cardholder actually gives you a bit of reassurance that should you lose that (LET’S HOPE NOT!), someone will notice!
From DKNY to Alexander McQueen, Smythson to Anya Hindmarch, Mulberry to Prada and many more- they’re all adding a bit of glamour to this otherwise ignored piece of accessory. I love the nudes and pastel shades used by Mulberry and Anya Hindmarch (love the bow detail too!). At the same time kudos to Prada for using a range of colours from bright reds to golds. I love the signature skull detail on the Alexander McQueen cardholders. I cannot wait to add one of these to my collection!
So if you’re looking to treat yourself or buy a gift for someone close to you, do browse these lovely creations. Ranging from £45 to over a £100, there’s something to match everyone’s range.

I am not a massive fan of Longchamp, not because I don’t like the designs or anything else but only for the fact they’re just too common!! Every other person has a Longchamp bag and I for one like to own things that not everyone would have. Now, Mary Katrantzou; many of you, including myself, who don’t know much about her would be intrigued to know, won the Emerging Talent Ready-to-Wear award at British Fashion Awards in 2011. A Central Saint Martins graduate, she has already collaborated with TopShop and Longchamp. There were talks about the Longchamp collaboration a couple of months ago and they have finally arrived in Selfridges.
The range of Longchamp bags that Mary has designed are fun, vibrant and a great accessory for any outing! As I’ve mentioned in my previous post I shall be embarking on my holiday soon and this LONGCHAMP Mary Katrantzou digital travel bag is enticing me by the minute! I like the fact not everyone would have it and I would be able to spot my bag a mile away. I love the Chinese inspired lantern design and the flowers- reminds me of the Chinese printed cloth from which they used to make their traditional clothes. Chances are I may have clicked on the buy button by the end of this post.
Selfridges is selling these bags at the moment. Pricing starts from £94 so they don’t exactly come cheap. She has done four designs for Longchamp from what I can see on Selfridge’s website- small, medium, digital tote and digital travel bag. To buy or view these bags in detail, please click here.

I decided it was time I started sharing my recent purchases with you guys. Since I spend most of my time (and money) on shopping AND eating, I thought why not. Being a bargain junkie, my shopping is a mixture of pricey as well as not so pricey items.
Since I am about to embark on a longish holiday, I am currently in a holiday shopping mode. Now who has NOT heard of TK Maxx?! Please don’t say you haven’t! Being a bargain junkie that I am, I’m in love with this place. You have the likes of Michael Kors, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Versace, Alberta Ferretti and the list goes on- gracing the rails of this store. Sometimes, I feel almost cheated on paying full price for things and realise what is their real value when you can easily find them in stores like TK Maxx?! Not that I’m complaining!! In fact, bring it all here!
So today I had embarked on finding myself a pair of silver high heels for my brother’s upcoming wedding and instead I found myself hogging the rails of TK Maxx. Soon enough I found myself holding a purse and my! what a gorgeous purse. Very elegant and understated- in a royal purple colour with an inner finish of fuchsia. It’s primarily for travelling so you can hold your passport, tickets and other travelling documents in one place. How many times have you found yourself at the airport counter rummaging through your bag trying to find your ticket or the boarding pass or your passport?!……Ok, just me then! Under a tenner, this baby is going to be my best travelling accessory! It is by this designer called Anna Di Angelo. I haven’t heard about this designer but it’s a start.
The next accessory I bought was a silk scarf from Zara. I think I am unconsciously buying everything that has purple or fuchsia or pink in it. I think my body is trying to get ready for Spring! aah! Can’t wait!! But yea, again under a tenner, could not resist taking a few shots with the purse juxtaposed on top of the scarf.
And then there were the shoes! I am a crazy shoe addict. Some people call me the caterpillar- I have stupendous amount of shoes! I shall do a post soon about my collection of shoes. They’re divided into different categories; My Going-Out Shoes, Everyday Shoes, Wedding Shoes, Sporty Shoes, Semi-Formal Shoes, Unisex Shoes……You get the idea right? As I am in the holiday mode right now, I bought myself two pairs of shoes because I may need them for a party or a wedding- who knows. Both of these I got from Dune for around £50 and I was very pleased with myself.
The Beige peep toe pair is very minimal yet versatile. It is very Spring Summer 2012 and will sit well with all the bright colours I wear. The heel is high enough to not be uncomfortable after a while. I love this pair and for under £20, I’m quite pleased.
The other pair of shoe is just so beautiful, classy and chic with the right amount of femininity to it. The diamantes, the silk satin finish, the pointed front, the cut out design from the sides finished off with a pretty bow at the back- these shoes just did it for me. And in black, they’re a killer pair of heels! I cannot wait to wear this sexy pair out!
Alright, this sums up my recent buys! Hope you enjoyed these. I will be sharing my shopping more regularly now. Just saw the time- gotta go and sleep! Catch you guys later. As always, do write in, give your feedback and share!
Stay fashionable! xx
I could feel my fingers turn into tiny icicles while I was walking. Gaah!
SO that’s what inspired this look. Lots of layering yet not compromising on the style. This look has everything I love! Colour, faux fur, leather, quintessential gloves, and a great IT bag. Life’s good! Move aside “winter” and hell-ooo ice queen!
With Spring/Summer just around the corner, I predict scarves are going to make a big come back. Style it how you like- around your neck, tie your hair with it, make it a headband, tie it around your wrist or your bag: your choice!
With prints and colour making a big comeback, The Outnet has a fabulous range of Emilio Pucci scarves at up to 65% off. So why not add a bit of colour to your outfit and start investing in one helluva SS2012 wardrobe without breaking the bank?? Have a browse through and see if you’d like any that would match with your white shirt or a dress. For a whole range of scarves from Emilio Pucci, please click here.
Here’s some inspiration on how to style yours. Disclaimer: I do not own the pictures. I do love Google!
Till the next time my fashionistas! xx
An instant way to uplift your wardrobe or drab old t-shirts and jumpers is by getting statement necklaces that double up as collars. It has happened numerous times where I have worn such necklaces on top of plain tops/dresses/jumpers and people have mistaken them for a new outfit. HAH!
Places where I have found such treasures is ASOS, H&M, House of Fraser, TopShop and just scouring the web. A while ago I did a feature on statement necklaces and the link is as follows:
For an effortless look, I always find a flowing white top over a pair of sparkly tights looks chic and gives an instant glamour effect! Add a faux fur jacket on top, some chunky rings, a swipe of red lippy and you’re ready to paint the town red!
